A two-day course (one face-to-face, one online) focussing on

• Group dynamics
• Group cohesion
• The process of group formation
• Class rules and norms
• Leadership models and facilitation modes
• Dealing with conflicts and disruptions in class
• The Swiss educational system
• Online teaching

Twenty hours on reading and research for the completion of two written assignments (3.000-3.500 words in total).

Trainer: Course taught by Cambridge English and SVEB accredited trainers

• The SVEB Trainer Certificate is valid for life
• The SVEB Trainer Certificate permits you to teach groups of adults in any field in which you have professional expertise

Prerequisites for participation in the course:

• Submission of a CELTA/Trinity CertTESOL official certificate.

At the end of the course, every course participant will receive a Flying Teachers certificate of attendance. The final certification procedure must occur within five years from the last day of the Bridge from CELTA to SVEB course.

Requirements for the certification procedure:
The SVEB Trainer Certificate will be issued to Cambridge CELTA/Trinity CertTESOL qualified teachers if the documents below are submitted:

• Copy of the Cambridge CELTA or Trinity CertTESOL certificate. [Hier wurde Text gelöscht]

• Copy of the Bridge course certificate of attendance showing that the teacher has attended all the sessions. 100% attendance in the Bridge course is required.

• Pass grades in the pre- and post-course assignments.

• Proof of work stating that the candidate has taught groups of at least three adults for a minimum of 150 hours (50 hours can be one-to-one/2 students’ teaching). The proof of work will have to clearly show a regular teaching activity. Employment certificates must be enclosed to the document proof of work to confirm the information given.
