The SVEB bridge course offers teachers with a CELTA or Trinity CertTESOL qualification the opportunity to obtain the SVEB certificate in English (“Trainer certified SFAL – Swiss Federation of Adult Learning”).
The SVEB certificate “Trainer – Conducting Learning Events” is an official qualification from the Swiss Federation for Adult Learning (SVEB).
It is a recognized basic qualification for teachers in adult education in Switzerland and entitles the holder to teach in all subject areas in which they have the relevant professional expertise.

Certificates
“SVEB Certificate Trainer – Conducting Learning Events (Module 1)”
The SVEB certificate is a nationally recognized qualification that is valid indefinitely and enables you to work as a trainer in adult education.
Requirements Certificate of participation in bridge course
• 100% attendance at the bridge course days
• 2 written assignments (3,000–3,500 words in total)
Provided that the requirements are met, participants in the bridge course will receive a certificate of attendance from Flying Teachers for the formal, official SVEB certification process.
The final certification process must be completed within five years of the last day of the SVEB bridge course.
Requirements for SVEB certification
The SVEB certificate for teachers with CELTA or Trinity CertTESOL qualifications will be issued upon submission of the following documents:
• Copy of a Cambridge CELTA or Trinity CertTESOL certificate
• Copy of the certificate of attendance for the Flying Teachers bridge course (100% attendance)
• Passed written assignments before and after the course
• Proof of 50 hours of practical teaching experience in adult language training (group lessons with at least 3 participants), plus proof in the form of employment references or confirmation from employers/clients. The proof of employment must clearly show teaching activity over a period of at least two years.
