Focus: Teaching Foreign Languages

This extended module, Carrying Out Learning Events with Adults (AdA FA-M1), focuses on didactics for foreign language teaching. The course is designed for teachers of DaF/DaZ, as well as English, French, Italian, and Spanish as foreign languages.

Only with Flying Teachers:
You will teach 2 to 4 accompanied practice lessons in "German as a Foreign Language," allowing you to immediately apply, experiment with, and refine what you’ve learned. You will be observed and receive feedback from both your colleagues and your course leader — ensuring practical relevance from the very first minute.

As part of this course, you will have the opportunity to earn the EUROLTA certificate, which qualifies you to teach foreign languages worldwide.

Certification Path:
Completing this course with the EUROLTA certificate is equivalent to the FIDE modules:

  • BAE (Educational Work with Adults)
  • FZD (Foreign and Second Language Didactics)

Together with the MI (Migration and Interculturality) and SBU (Scenario-Based Teaching) modules, this leads to the FIDE Certificate for "Language Course Leader in the Area of Integration."

Bridge Course from CELTA to SVEB

Do you already hold a CELTA certificate?
This two-day bridging course allows you to have your CELTA diploma recognized by the Swiss Association for Continuing Education (SVEB). By completing the course, you will earn the SVEB Course Instructor certificate, which qualifies you to teach adults throughout Switzerland.

  • Swiss education system

Course Requirements:

  • 12 hours of in-class attendance
  • Work assignments (approx. 20 hours to complete four written tasks, totaling 4,000 words)
