Flying Teachers has twelve learning centres across Switzerland, and we can 'fly' to you if needed. This means you can learn wherever you are: in the office, on the train, or at home. We can also teach you via Skype.

Recognised examination centre

Flying Teachers is an authorised training centre for Cambridge University teachers, as well as for CELTA and DELTA certification. The Swiss Association for Continuing Education (SVEB) recognises us as a training centre for foreign language teachers. We are also a proud member of the ICC International Language Network.

Our course types

Group courses in our training centres

Learning a language expands your world. In a traditional language course, you develop all key language skills: listening, reading, writing, and speaking. You will learn the language from the ground up, in a group setting. You'll practice with specialized teaching materials, as well as examples from everyday life and literature. You'll engage in discussions and activities in small groups, pairs, and individually. The number of lessons per week is flexible, so you can choose the pace that best suits your learning goals.

Certificate courses

Is it important for you to prove your language skills with a certificate? Then our certificate preparation courses are the perfect choice. You will be specifically prepared for the requirements of your desired exam. Most certificates can be obtained directly through Flying Teachers, as we are an officially recognised examination centre for numerous institutions.

Conversation courses

Finding the right words or phrases at the right moment in a conversation takes practice. The goal of our conversation courses is to help you speak fluently and confidently. The courses follow a well-structured plan, with the group working from a course book and/or teaching materials created by Flying Teachers.

Language for the job

Do you need language skills primarily for your job? In our work-oriented courses, offered in various languages, you will practice real-world scenarios from everyday work life and learn the specific vocabulary required for professional activities, in addition to general foundational vocabulary. Like all our courses, these are structured according to our Integrated Learning approach.

One-to-one lessons wherever you like

Do you prefer learning on your own, or does a group course not fit into your schedule? Let us help! We’ll be happy to create a personalized, tailor-made course programme for you. We can come to you and teach wherever you prefer, or at our centrally located course venues.

One-to-one lessons via Skype

Wherever you are, as long as you have an internet connection, you can also take lessons via Skype at any time. A teacher—no matter where they are in the world—will guide you through grammar questions and exercises. Documents will be exchanged via email or our learning platform. This service is available in German, English, Spanish, Italian, and French.

Private lessons as a group

You can also learn a language with friends or colleagues! For groups of three or more, a teacher will "fly" to your preferred location. Contact us to explore all the possibilities.
