Flying Teachers develops and delivers practical educational programs aimed at strengthening basic skills among adults. Our programs help people specifically develop their skills in language, reading and writing, mathematics, and digital applications, while sustainably strengthening their ability to manage everyday life and work.

The programs are aimed at adults aged 18 and over who are not accustomed to formal education, are employed or partially employed, and need support in basic skills. These include, in particular, German, reading and writing, everyday mathematics, information and communication technologies, and oral communication skills in German.

The Support Level 2 programs make an important contribution to maintaining and improving employability and promoting active participation in society. People with N or S residence status are excluded.

The Support Level 2 programs are part of the canton’s program for promoting basic skills among adults and are supported by the Directorate of Education of the Canton of Zurich (MBA, Office for Basic Skills for Adults). The aim is to enable adults to acquire and maintain basic skills, thereby strengthening their participation in society and the workplace.

Flying Teachers conducts the courses as part of this support program. For eligible participants, course attendance is free of charge.
