The European Language Certificates are a system of language tests based on the Council of Europe's Common Framework of Reference for Language Learning. Different skills in several languages are tested at different levels. The tests are created on the basis of central tasks according to published criteria, organized across Europe according to uniform implementation regulations and evaluated centrally according to identical assessment criteria. The certificates are recognized worldwide.
Exam deadlines
Individual exams can incur a supplement.

Preparation courses
Flying Teachers offers a wide range of prep courses for TELC examinations.
Exam results
Exam results are published 6–8 weeks after the exam. Exams are deemed to have been passed if with a mark of at least 60% in both exam papers.
Exam format and length
The examinations consist of a written and an oral part.
