TELC certificate examinations are standardised language examinations aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
The examination at CEFR level C1 confirms highly advanced language competencies for demanding professional and academic requirements.
TELC certificates are internationally recognised and accepted by authorities, employers and educational institutions.
Flying Teachers is accredited as a TELC examination centre for this examination.
Exam length and format
The Exam consists of a Written and an oral part. The Written Exam lasts 3.40 hrs (incl. 20 mins break). Candidates have 20 mins preparatory time before the Oral Exam.
Written Exam
Reading: 90 mins
Pause: 20 mins
Listening: 40 mins
Written Expression: 70 mins
Oral Exam
Preparatory time: 20 mins
Usually a group exam with two or three participants: 16 mins
Certificates and test results
The results are available approximately 6–8 weeks after the examination. The TELC certificate is issued if at least 60% is achieved in both parts of the examination.

Individual examinations are available at an increased fee.
If fewer than two candidates participate, additional charges may apply for conducting a private examination; further information is available upon request.
