TEF (Test d’Evaluation de Français)
- The TEF is an internationally recognized certification exam that proves your level of French.
- The exam is computer-based.
- We usually conduct all parts of the exam on the same day. Please reserve the whole day for the exam.
Course content
Depending on the type of exam, different skills are tested:
- Oral comprehension (40 min.)
- Written comprehension (60 min.)
- Oral expression (15 min.)
- Written expression (60 min.)
Target
- The TEF is usually pursued for professional, academic or personal reasons.
- As an exam candidate, you are responsible for familiarising yourself with the “Regulations for TEF”.
Notes and special regulations
- Registration is binding. The exam fee must be paid no later than 2 weeks before the exam.
- Cancellation must be made in writing. Up to 4 weeks before the exam, you pay a cancellation fee of CHF 120.00. If you cancel later, we will charge the entire exam fee.
- You will receive a written exam confirmation by email approximately 2 weeks before the exam date.
- The exam results will be emailed to you directly from CCIP approximately 2-8 weeks after the exam date.
- Bring a valid ID card with a photo to the exam (ID, passport).
- If a dictionary is permitted for your exam type, please bring your own dictionary.
