German Intensive Power Course
Learning German with Flying Teachers is fun!
German is the most important national language in Switzerland. A good knowledge of German is thus an important prerequisite, both for professional development and for integration in everyday life.
With Flying Teachers, you will learn German quickly and efficiently!
Learning objective
Flying Teachers is your competent language school with more than 25 years of experience.
Our language courses are based on both the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) and the framework curriculum of the Federal Office for Migration. The overarching goal is for you to be able to act in a self-determined manner in German and quickly feel comfortable speaking it in your professional and private environment. This learning goal is achieved by training all four skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing) within a very short time.
All courses prepare you for the international as well as national language certificates (fide, telc, Goethe).
Completion of the free placement test is a prerequisite for course registration. (Exception: complete beginners.)

Certificate
As a participant, you will receive a course participation certificate from Flying Teachers with an attendance of at least 80%.
In addition, after completing each language level at Flying Teachers, a mock exam can be taken free of charge to check whether the level has been reached. Furthermore, Flying Teachers regularly offers KDE, fide and telc exams (not included in the price).
Flying Teachers is a professional school for language professions and training centre for teachers for German as a second language: In the German courses you will be taught by teachers who are doing an internship with us. The training team closely supports these teachers. All German courses are held in German.
Remarks
- The placement test is a requirement. If you are not a beginner, you must complete the placement test.
- ALL group courses are designed in hybrid mode. When registering, participants choose their preferred format (on site and/or online).
- Course locations cannot be freely chosen by participants; this decision is made by Flying Teachers. Courses may take place at four locations:

Elias Canetti 7A, 8050 Zurich - Courses are held with a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 14 participants.
- A change of teacher or course location may occur during the course under certain circumstances.
- If the course does not take place, we can organise it as private lessons. For CHF 449, you will receive 7 online lessons of 45 minutes each or 6 on-site lessons of 45 minutes each.
- Course materials are listed separately (between CHF 35 and CHF 40 per book). Books are non-refundable but may be exchanged for others if they have not been used (e.g. for a different level or language).
