What to expect
FSEA/EUROLTA Formatrice/formateur (langues)
Lead training sessions for groups of adults in the field of foreign languages.
For teachers of French, German, Italian, English, or Spanish as a foreign language.
This course combines the FSEA certificate Trainer – Leading learning sessions in the field of foreign languages with the EUROLTA certificate (European Certificate in Language Teaching to Adults). The EUROLTA certificate can be obtained optionally as an additional qualification (see Diploma and Certificates).
With this course, you will acquire methodological and didactic foundations that will enable you to successfully plan, deliver, and evaluate language courses. You will learn how to design varied and participant-oriented teaching units. You will receive practical information on planning and monitoring learning objectives, as well as on the use of different methods. You will address key aspects of group dynamics and reflect on your own behaviour.
Thanks to the mix of in-person and online course days (in a virtual classroom), you will acquire both analog and digital skills, and after the course, you will be able to teach in a varied and participant-adapted way in both settings.
Exclusively with Flying Teachers: you will teach 2 to 4 supervised practice classes in French as a foreign language and can immediately implement, test, and apply what you have learned. To gain experience in both online and in-person teaching, you will teach the first lesson in a virtual classroom with pedagogical support on a given topic (FLE), and the second lesson in person on a language topic of your choice. You will be observed and receive feedback from your peers and your course leader — practical relevance from the very first minute!
