DFP relations internationales

The DFP relations internationales is an internationally recognized certificate examination that proves your language skills in French for the area of ​​international relations (diplomacy).

The examination is computer-based.

We usually conduct all parts of the examination on the same day. Please reserve the whole day for the examination.

Target

The DFP relations internationales exams are aimed at professionals or students for whom French is a foreign language and who communicate with French-speaking interlocutors in a professional environment (orally and in writing).

Those taking the exam must be at least 16 years old.

As an exam candidate, you are responsible for familiarizing yourself with the “Guide du Candidat”.

Notes and special provisions

  1. Registration is binding. The exam fee must be paid no later than 6 weeks before the exam.
  2. Cancellation must be made in writing. Up to 4 weeks before the exam, you pay a cancellation fee of CHF 120.00. If you cancel later, we will charge the entire exam fee.
  3. You will receive a written exam confirmation by email approximately 2 weeks before the exam date.
  4. The exam results will be emailed to you directly from CCIP approximately 2-8 weeks after the exam date.
  5. Bring a valid ID card with a photo to the exam (ID, passport).
  6. If a dictionary is permitted for your exam type, please bring your own dictionary.

The DFP relations international examinations consist of the following parts:

Niveau B1

  • Understanding and processing information (75 mins)
  • Oral interaction (prep time: 20 mins; oral exam 10 mins)

Niveau B2

  • Understanding and processing information (75 mins)
  • Oral interaction (prep time: 20 mins; oral exam 10 mins)

Niveau C1

  • Understanding and processing information (75 mins)
  • Oral interaction (prep time: 20 mins; oral exam 10 mins)
