You have teaching experience in German as a foreign or second language at a beginner level or In the area of integration and would like to further educate yourself in the area of literacy?

In this course you will learn the basics of literacy didactics as well as textbooks and materials for teaching students learning first and second writing.

The teachers:

• acquire the methodological and didactic knowledge in teaching non-literate people and those learning to read a second language
• can classify, advise and assess participants
• get to know teaching materials
• can promote learner autonomy while taking socio-cultural and biographical aspects into account
